How We Work

Here's what it actually looks like to work together — the conversations, the scoping, the weekly rhythm, and what it costs.

Written for the person who is close to the decision and wants the details before the call.

The First Conversation

This is mutual fit-finding, not a sales pitch and not a rigid intake form. We talk about where things are stuck, what you have already tried, and what needs to happen next.

By the end of it we both know whether this is the right partnership. If it isn't, you'll hear that directly.

What We Need From You

Just the call. If it would make the time more useful, we'll send a short questionnaire beforehand — but there is no heavy prep and nothing to prepare a deck for.

Scoping The Work

After the first call you get two or three scope options, not one take-it-or-leave-it proposal. Each option trades off budget, timeline, and priority so you can pick the shape that fits.

Choosing the smallest option is a completely reasonable answer.

Every phase has a defined start and a defined stop.

Nothing is open-ended and nothing is hard to exit. You always know what you are committing to, and when it ends.

How Engagements Are Structured

Work starts narrow — one defined project or phase — and expands once the value is clear. There is no large upfront commitment to get started.

Start Narrow

A single phase with a clear objective, a clear end date, and work that stands on its own.

Reassess Together

At the end of every phase we decide jointly whether to continue, adjust, or stop. Completed work holds its value either way.

When Priorities Shift

New requests mid-engagement get discussed openly and scoped separately, so the original work stays on track.

Working Together, Day To Day

Weekly or biweekly calls are the default rhythm, with async updates over email or Slack in between.

For fractional and embedded engagements, dedicated blocks of time are set aside each week for deeper collaboration.

Embedded Work

Involvement flexes with the scope of the work and your own team's availability, agreed before a phase starts.

Bandwidth

One person on your side — founder, marketing lead, or GTM lead — owns scope and shaping, while we work directly with your broader cross-functional team to get things done.

Point of Contact

Who’s Involved

Vetted collaborators are brought in when the work calls for it. You see and approve anyone before they join. No one joins your team without your sign-off.

Investment

Most engagements are project-based: scoped and priced per project. Embedded and fractional work runs as a monthly retainer. Actual pricing is set after the first call, once scope is clear.

PROJECT

$4,000+

A defined phase with a start and stop. Starting point, not a fixed price.

Minimum commitment - 30 days

RETAINER

The Best Next Step Is A Conversation

Nothing above is locked in until we talk. Scope, timeline, and price all get set after the first call.
